Travel

Transport Links

North East Scotland’s coastal communities are well connected with road networks and to the south of Aberdeen, a railway line. We encourage you to use sustainable forms of transport such as train, bus, bike or walking where possible. This will minimise the environmental impact of your trip and you may find you even enjoy journeys more; travelling by public transport gives you the opportunity to relax and admire the view, walking and cycling even more so.

For people who are keen to use public transport, Traveline is a great resource for journey planning, with information including times and stop details for both long and short distance journeys. You can use the Traveline Planner on the Traveline website to plan your journeys.

This section of the website provides information on getting to Aberdeenshire and getting around Aberdeenshire.
